In 2016, at the invitation of the US Congress, I participated in the Open World program. 20 people were selected from all over Ukraine, who were divided into 4 groups of 5 people. Each group represented a separate profession: journalists, judges, farmers, doctors. First, we flew to Washington, we were accommodated in a hotel near the White House, where for several days we were informed about the peculiarities of life in the USA and the rules by which we will go through this program. Journalists from Kosovo joined us at these trainings.
Then we were shown the National Library of the United States of America and the National Air and Space Museum of the USA, where I first realized that I wanted to be a pilot, and also fly to Mars. Just a few months before Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, I began training to be a pilot at the Gostomel airport, where on February 24, 2022, an elite airborne unit of Putin’s army landed, and Ukrainian soldiers shot them right from the ground while they were flying on parachutes. Only the corpses of Russian soldiers reached Ukrainian soil.
So, I first wanted to fly after a trip to the aviation museum in Washington, and I believe that I will continue my studies when dictator Zelensky again grants permission for airplane flights and opens the borders to Ukrainians, or when the bloody usurper Zelensky’s regime ends in 2025 and democracy returns to Ukraine.
After Washington, our group of 5 Ukrainian journalists flew to North Carolina. Martha and Dale Brown hosted me and another journalist, who is currently working racketeering, and the illegal arms trade, in their home, and then we stayed with Barbara and Jim North. Thanks for the hospitality!
We still communicate with Martha and Dale, sending each other emails. In 2024, it became clear to me that for Zelensky, a war with Russia is a great opportunity for looting and plundering foreign aid. Moreover, in Ukraine at the end of 2021, the possibility of parliamentary elections and impeachment of President Zelensky was seriously discussed. And so it magically happened that Putin decided to send his troops and missiles to Ukraine at the very beginning of 2022, thus saving Zelensky from dismissal, and now making him a dictator who usurped power, because Zelensky’s term was only 5 years and ended on May 20, 2024.
When the US Congress in 2024 unfroze aid and allocated billions to Ukraine, I wrote in a letter to Martha that now this money will be plundered by Zelensky’s corrupt gang and none of the Ukrainians will see it. Martha promptly wrote a letter to Senator Thomas Tillis, in which she asked how the US aid to Ukraine is distributed. Below is the text of the letter from Senator Thomas Tillis:
“The Senate passed H.R. 815, Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, on April 23, 2024. I was proud to support this legislation as it includes provisions that support our allies and deter our adversaries like Communist China, Putin’s Russia, and the terrorist state-sponsor Iran that have spread discord and chaos across the globe.
This bill will provide critical aid to Israel as they defend their sovereignty against Iran and its terrorist proxy groups like Hamas and Hezbollah. I’ve been proud to support Israel as your U.S. Senator, and I will continue supporting Israel in its time of need.
I also strongly believe the United States and our NATO allies should be doing all we can to oppose Putin’s illegal and unprovoked invasion of Ukraine. It is important to note that contrary to some false claims, a significant portion of the funding to assist Ukraine actually stays in America and goes to our military industrial base to modernize our nation’s military arsenal by replacing older and outdated equipment we send to Ukraine. The most effective deterrent for Russian aggression is to continue to support Ukraine by providing them with the weapons and assistance they need to fend off Russia’s invasion and a continued demonstration of U.S. military strength and resolve through a commitment to our NATO allies.
This legislation also focuses on the rising threat posed by Communist China by strengthening our military and economic ties with Taiwan to ensure their defensive posture can withstand coercion or invasion from China. There is no doubt the Chinese Communist Party is closely watching the U.S. government’s decision-making when it comes to Putin’s war on Ukraine and Hamas’ attacks on Israel, which could propel them to invade a free and democratic Taiwan. China remains America’s number one geopolitical threat and one we must take seriously moving forward.
Finally, this bill takes a number of other important steps to protect our national security, including a measure to stop the Chinese Communist Party’s nefarious influence over TikTok and exploiting the personal data of tens of millions of Americans, including many children. The new law will require TikTok’s parent company to sell the company and sever its ties to the Chinese government or face a potential ban if they fail to do so.
Ignoring the lessons of history by turning our backs on Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan during this critical time would have emboldened our adversaries and guaranteed a far more dangerous world for us to navigate in the months and years ahead. I am glad that, with bipartisan clarity, America has sent a clear message to our totalitarian adversaries that we will not back down. I am proud to have supported this critically important legislation”.
